Thank you to those who have continued to share. I am very sorry to hear that so many health issues are continuing with this breeder. It's obvious to me that the males and females being used to breed have health issues they're passing along. On top of this the puppies from what I know are not properly socialized for their first 8 weeks. At least this was the case around the time we adopted our PWD as I was informed by a previous worker with Pam.
I have posted before about my dog Phoebe. She is now three and continues to exhibit significant food intolerance issues, severe itchiness, and skin issues. We have spent over five thousand dollars in vet bills since getting this dog as an eight week old puppy. Food costs are also high as I have to rotate all proteins that she eats or she develops an intolerance to the protein. We love her but she has been challenging. She also grooming phobic due to her skin issues. Her constant scratching negates the concept of a low shedding breed as she pulls out her own fur. I did advise Pam at one point that she may want to reconsider her breeding of the mother as we were advised by our vet that the dog's immune issues are genetic. If you are struggling with a puppy with skin and allergy issues and would like information about the things that have worked for us feel free to call me at 705-321-6267. Anita
