Seizures, Addison's disease, allergies etc....

Thank you to those who have continued to share.  I am very sorry to hear that so many health issues are continuing with this breeder.  It's obvious to me that the males and females being used to breed have health issues they're passing along.  On top of this the puppies from what I know are not properly socialized for their first 8 weeks. At least this was the case around the time we adopted our PWD as I was informed by a previous worker with Pam.

CKC

Please do not look to the CKC for help with any issues about any breeder.  My understanding is they are not a governing body.  A breeder pays their fee to join,  that's it; they don't investigate the quality.

Another Barbet comment left

It seems like most of the barbets from this breeder are experiencing extreme allergies. It’s very frustrating. We went from TLC to Natural Balance e land and brown rice to now abet food royal canin hp ( which is. Costing a fortune and we don’t even know if that was the problem ). we are trying him on this food exclusively for 12 weeks straight and then see what happens. It’s very frustrating and I feel really bad for my dog because he has had a cone on for months due to him scratching at his face and ears

Barbet Issues as well....no surprise

I'm on my second barbet from willow creek, the first one dying suddenly at 18 months. We decided not to pay for an autopsy and the breeder did not offer either. She replaced him with another puppy which has been itching for the last 6 months. We have been switching food and giving antihistamines, trying to determine if environmental allergies or food allergy. Being how it's now winter and she's still scratching, might be food. Next step will be the dermatologist...

Back Online

Sorry I wasn't using the Email linked to this blog for almost 2 years. I've reactivated it as I see there are still many disturbing issues regarding this breeder (Pam Headon Schleuter). I've been asked by several people to keep this blog going.
